To glorify God through worship, prayer, study and teaching,

and to share God's transforming love through joyful service.

We are delighted to announce that the Rev. Mary Anne Osborn has accepted the Priest-in-Charge position for Christ & The Epiphany Church. Hallelujah and thanksgivings to God for the discernment of the Vestry, and Rev. Mary Anne's calling!

Our Lenten practices include the "Living Well Through Lent 2021" daily devotional from Living Compass (www.LivingCompass.org).  A limited number of printed copies are available upon request or you may enroll in their daily email distribution list.

Our building is closed for services until further notice.  While our building is closed, our hearts are not.  Please join us Sunday morning via Zoom.

Sunday Schedule:

9:00 a.m. - Zoom Sunday Worship Meeting - http://alturl.com/kt9fk

You can connect with your computer, phone or tablet.  Please contact our office with any questions.

Upcoming events:

Lenten Bible Study - Wednesday evenings beginning February 24, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. - we will gather for a reflective Bible study followed by a contemplative service of Compline.  Rev. Mary Anne Osborn will facilitate a group reflection of the Gospel texts for the coming Sunday.  This method of study will rely on what the Holy Spirit is saying to each of us through God's work rather than relying on traditional biblical scholarship.  We will rely on the presence of Christ speaking by the Spirit through the voices of those who have gathered.- http://alturl.com/kt9fk

February 27, 2021 - A (Virtual) Lenten Retreat opportunity hosted by the Episcopal Church in Connecticut, free to attend, register by clicking this link

The Good Shepherd Thrift Store's Seasonal Celebrations Room Grand Opening - opened Saturday, October 3, and will initially feature autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas decor; locally handmade ornaments, and gently used items including collectibles.  Homemade canned goods and baked item are also available.  Hours are Saturday 10:00-12:00, Tuesday 9:00-11:00.  The entire store has been cleaned and reconfigured with wider aisles and more expansive display areas.  Masks must be worn, social distancing must be maintained, and capacity limit will be enforced.

Many thanks to everyone who made our Blessing of the Animals on October 4, such a wonderful event!  Rev. Andrew G. Osmun offered special blessings for pets in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi. And the East Haven Animal Shelter received a bounty of donations of canned and dry pet food, treats, toys and bedding.
